Explore the wonders of the Sonoran Desert while you hone your skills on the varied terrain of one of Pima County’s beautiful desert trails. Trail running offers a wonderful opportunity to explore and connect with the natural world, while providing a fun and engaging way to get a great work out.
Participants should be comfortable running 4-6 miles on flat terrain. Elevation change is moderate, and distances are generally 4-6 miles.
Sarasota Trailhead, 2737 S Sarasota Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85713
From Tucson, head west on W. Ajo Way/Highway 86. Turn right on S. Kinney Rd. and then right on S. Sarasota Blvd. Drive to the end of Sarasota Blvd. and park in the lot on the right side.
There are no bathrooms at the trailhead. Please bring water and sun protection and wear clothing and close-toed shoes that you will be comfortable running in.
