Description
This class is underwritten by the generous support of the Grand Foundation.Combining meditation, gentle yoga and expressive visual arts. "Creative Wellness" is a course designed to promote the joy of artistic expression. It is a safe space for adults with special needs and/or disabilities to meet others and relax. The sessions are split into two parts - a guided meditation with yoga, deep breathing and guided imagery and an expressive art project. All activities offered help to nurture creativity, feelings of relaxation and self-confidence.
Special needs meditation guide and art teacher Claire leads the participants to a joyful and relaxing social experience.
Students should bring an apron or wear clothes to paint in.
