Objectives (A1.3): - Speak about your family - Understand and announce a family event - React to a family announcement and congratulate the person - Understand, ask and give news about someone - Understand, ask and give time and schedule information - Express an obligation - Understand and describe daily activities, daily schedule and routine- Propose, accept, refuse an invitation to go out - Set a meeting - Speak about your projects - Relate past events and refer to past action
Objectives (A2.1):
- Understand a questionnaire - Ask questions - Talk about celebrations and traditions - Call someone and answer the phone - Give advice - Refer to past events - Understand biographical information - Describe someone's physical appearance and mention similarities - Talk about the seasons - Express sensations, perceptions and feelings - Understand simple weather information - Situate an event in the year - Give information about the weather - Locate a place geographically - Present and describe a location - Talk about outdoor activities
For students enrolled in levels A1.3 to A2.2 who wish to spend more time practicing their conversation and listening skills, Alliance Française offers the "Oral Plus Package": one extra hour of class each week, to be taken in combination with a regular course.
Before starting this course, you should have completed level A1.2 or been assessed at level A1.3 through a placement test, within 6 months of the beginning of the course. You need the Cosmopolite 1 textbook and exercise book for this course. The textbook and exercise book will be used for levels A1.1 to A2.3.
