A2.1 Objectives:
- Introduce a familiar event, and react to it
- Ask and give information about someone
- Talk about my family
- Make a phone call and answer the phone
- Understand statistical information
- Recall past events
- Understand biographical information
- Describe a person physically
- Express feelings and sensations
- Converse about the seasons
- Understand and give information about the weather
- Place an event in a certain year
- Geographically locate a setting
- Present the characteristics of a location
- Understand a visit schedule
- Talk about your interests and cultural activities
- Write a holiday letter
A2.2 Objectives:
- Talk about my taste and my eating lifestyle
- Understand and formulate a food menu
- Describe a uniform
- Give positive or negative feedback (on clothes or people)
- Advise someone
- Choose a gift for somebody
- Describe an object by illustrating its function
- Purchase recent products
- Express precise quantities
- Describe food produce
- Understand a performance poster and react to it
- Arrange an outing, decide on a show and make a reservation
- Express a restriction
Before starting this course, you should have completed level A1.3 or been assessed at level A2.1 through a placement test, within 6 months of the beginning of the course. You need the Alter Ego 1 textbook and exercise book for this course. The Alter Ego 1 textbook and exercise book will be used for levels A1.1 to A2.3.
