About this event
"Throughout the club, participants will plan and create a 3-D mosaic project. Students can choose 1 of the provided options (garden tile or planter) OR bring in their own base (thrifted end table, frame for a mirror or picture, etc.). Bases will not be needed for the first club session, so they will have some time to decide. Adhesives and various glass/ceramic pieces will be provided. Project steps will include choosing and preparing a base, drawing and coloring a plan, transferring the design outline to the base, attaching the pieces, and finishing with grout and sealant. *Student age, behavior/focus, and artistic ability will be contributing factors to the success and quality of their final product. Younger students will have support in the safe use of materials and receive clear, simple instructions for project completion, but the art and construction are ultimately their work. **This is an all-ages club, and as such older students will be expected to model appropriate behavior and keep language and conversation topics rated G."
