In this workshop, participants will learn the art of metal smithing to create silver cuff bracelets. Students will learn the basics of working with metal, including proper tool handling and use, as well as the use of soldering techniques. Through hands-on instruction and demonstration, students will develop unique designs and learn how to fabricate their pieces using various metalworking techniques. Participants will also learn how to add exciting surface textures to their designs using a rolling mill and metal stamps. By the end of the workshop, students will have a beautiful and personalized silver cuff bracelet to take home and the skills and knowledge to continue creating unique pieces of wearable art. No previous experience is required and all materials and tools will be provided. This class will take place off site at one of Ah Haa School for the Art’s satellite locations.
