Overview
Southern Technical Institute's CNA Test Preparation course covers the terminology and specific hands-on skills necessary to successfully pass the written and clinical components of the Florida Nurse Assistant Certification exam. Clinical skills training is all hands-on directly on-site at Southern Technical Institute.
Education with Hands on Instruction
Our dedicated instructors will instruct you step-by-step with all 21 clinical skills as the State requires you to demonstrate them for the certification exam. We ensure that you practice each of the 21 skills hands-on throughout the training course and get the answers you need from your instructor to help ensure you have all the knowledge and skills necessary to pass your CNA exam. Our facilities are designed for your CNA training comfort and needs. We welcome and encourage you to stop by for a tour of our training facilities to see where your training will take place.

No High School Diploma or GED Required
Florida Board of Nursing does not require applicants have a High School Diploma or GED to become a Certified Nurse Assistant. All you need is the desire to become a CNA.
All Classroom & Training Supplies Included
Your CNA training book is yours to keep!
All material and supplies necessary to learn your CNA clinical skills are provided for your training in the classrooms. You only need to bring a pen and notebook with you. The Florida Certified Nurse Assistant exam fees are additional costs not included in the CNA Prep course tuition.
A 2 Hour Practice Session Days Scheduled before your Exam
You are offered a free practice session with an instructor within a week before taking your exam. This will give you a chance to go over the skills and to answer any last-minute questions you may have just days before taking your State of Florida CNA exam.
Easy, Interest-Free Payment Plan
There?s no qualifying, everyone is approved! You can register with a $50 non-refundable deposit that is applied to your CNA training cost. The remaining balance is due no later than your first day of class.
Exam Fee for CNA State Testing
Please note that all State exam fees, background screen fees and fingerprint fees are the responsibility of the student/candidate.
All students are required to wear medical scrubs (any color, any style) to all classes, plus socks and rubber sole/slip-resistant shoes (any color). Please bring your photo ID, a pen, highlighter, and notebook to class with you.
