The City of St. John's recognizes the need for support services to assist participation in recreation and leisure programming and provides a limited number of Inclusion Leaders to provide one to one support. Inclusion Leaders are not able to provide support for personal care, feeding or extreme behaviorial needs (i.e. aggressive behavior which compromises the safety of the participant, other participants and staff). If the participant has needs that fall outside of the skill set of Inclusion Leaders, a personal respite Support worker is welcome to attend. Please note, completion of Participant Support Intake is required prior to Inclusion Leader Support registration. For more information, please email inclusion@stjohns.ca or call 576-4450
