This course prepares your dog for the socialization and set skills needed to certify your animal to be a model in a print shoot, an actor in a movie or commercial, or a performed in a live show. There are different levels and skills to get your animal certified to become an animal actor. Paws Up is an Animal Actors Certified Evaluator (AACE) through the Animal Actors Academie Internationale. After becoming certified your dog is entered into a database of "set-prepped" and "set-trained" animals that animal acting agencies search for local projects. The animals may get paid $50 for an audition and when hired is paid a daily wage of approximately $50-$350. With over 600,000 animals employed each year, there is a constant demand for fresh faces.Testing will be on April 24th. Handlers under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
