Session 1: Clay Craze

St. John Lutheran School • 877 N Columbia Ave SewardNE  68434 Organized by St. John Summer Horizons Program

About this event

Be a maker! Clay is a unique material used for making artwork, objects and especially something to drink or eat out of. Students will explore the media of ceramics by building self-expressive forms as well as exploring traditional techniques in pottery making. Along the way we will be fascinated by ceramic artists from history for some inspiration. Let’s create! The students will walk over to Concordia one day, during the week as weather and time permits. Please fill out a travel permission form for this class Teacher: Justin Groth - Professor of Ceramics at Concordia University
