Lights! Camera! Action! - Digital Video Production

Seattle Preparatory School • 2400 11th Ave E SeattleWA  98102 Organized by Seattle Preparatory School

About this event

In this exciting, engaging, movie-making class, students will be writing scripts and sketching storyboards, as well as shooting and editing video. Participants will have access to state-of-the-art software. Students should have a basic understanding of computers and should bring their own digital video camera (can include a camera phone). We have some equipment that can be borrowed. Granville Emerson, a native of Seattle, has produced a variety of video productions including the worldwide “Celebration of Victory” Television Ministry of West Angeles Church in Los Angeles and has served as a video production consultant to several other mega-churches across the country. He also produced the sports documentary "Reign Ball: My Story of Basketball in Seattle" as well as the current YouTube comedy news commentary, “Lidline News”. Granville is also a credited screenwriter, co-writing the made-for-TV film, “Something to Sing About” (2000). *Campers enrolled in a full day of camps will have supervised lunch and activities on campus after morning session and prior to being walked to their afternoon session.
