LE PISTOL INSTRUCTOR CLASS Our 40+ Hour instructor class is a full hands-on instructor development course. The student instructor will experience proper design and delivery of material and then will design and deliver material over the course. This course is not just about shooting. It will include the following subject matter: Class/ range management Developing Performance objectives relevant to firearms training Developing and running a course of fire Techniques for teaching/instructing shooting skills and tactical considerations The difference between fundamentals and techniques Combat Shooting Fundamentals and how to instruct them Developing and maintaining shooting skills for the instructor This is a great course for the new instructor as well as the seasoned instructor as we break down the old flat range mentality and introduce 360-degree real world concepts. What you will need for this class Open mind Duty handgun - 3 magazines - 600 rds of ammunition Handheld light (weapon mounted lights are encouraged as well but you will need the handheld) Duty rifle - 3 magazines - sling - 300 rds of ammunition Duty Shotgun - Sling - 25rds bird shot - 25 rounds buck shot - 25 rds slug Pen, paper, note pad for the range - Legal pad for designing and developing teach backs
