12 sessions/ Spring semester (until May 1st)Hello, I am Pascale the Art Teacher. Welcome to the AES painting class!Do you know Sekhmet, the lion goddess of war and healing? Have you heard of Anubis, who had power over death? I am sure that you already know Ra, who was the patron of the sun, heaven, kingship power, and light.
We are going to represent these Egyptian deities surrounded by monumental pyramids, and we will write their names with hieroglyphs.We will draw and paint animals that Egyptians worshiped: the cat, the scarab, the owl.We will also create compositions featuring some magic symbols, jewels and sarcophagus, using vibrant blue, green, and emerald color, and lot of gold color.
Together, we will dream about the magics of Egypt and unleash our creativity!
