Description
American Red Cross Lifeguard Training is the course you need to become a certified Lifeguard. Participants who successfully complete this course will become certified in Lifeguarding, CPR/AED for Lifeguards and First Aid.Prerequisites:Participants must be 15 years old by or on the last day of class.Participants must pass a three part pre-course swimming test administered on the first day of class: 1. 300 yard continuous swim (not timed) 2. 20 yard swim, retrieval of 10lb object from 7ft depth, swim with object 20 yards, exit pool at side (1:40 time limit). 3. Tread water with legs only (2 minutes).
Please bring a lunch, towel, and appropriate clothing for quick transition between pool and classroom.
