Description
Come and learn enjoyable journal-writing techniques, and experience progress towards personal goals in the process. All materials supplied. This activity is for ages 18 and older. No staff supervision.
This group is for independent adults recovering from a mental or behavioral health diagnosis. It is designed to increase socialization, self-esteem, and leisure skills through recreation opportunities and education.
The City of San Diego, Parks and Recreation Department, Therapeutic Recreation Services, provides therapeutic recreation programs for children and adults with any type of disability. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists (CTRS) work with participants on social and recreational skill development, leisure education, appropriate behavior, and recreation participation in inclusive environments.
