Description
Need to relax? Want to reconnect with nature in a new way? Join an interpretive naturalist for this simple Japanese method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees. We will meet at the museum to learn a few tips, then walk to our forested shoreline trail for guided mindful activities. Afterward join us back at the museum for refreshments, continuing to ease into the morning by exploring our exhibits and gardens.
The program may include hiking less than 0.5 mile on preserve trails over uneven terrain. The museum is an accessible facility. Part of this program includes sitting on the ground (mats provided); please contact us if you need a chair. Please dress for the weather.
