This class is for PVPUSD students entering 7th and 8th grade only. Summer is the perfect time for kids to engage their engineering brains. Sign up for our VEX Robotics class to unlock the world of robotics engineering and develop essential skills for a future in tech. Students will work in teams to learn the engineering design process, build a VRC competition-style robot, and learn basic programming skills to make it move. The exercises allow for a variety of learning styles and ability levels, so all students can explore what it takes to design, build, and program functional VEX robots like those used at both of our High Schools to compete at an international level. No previous engineering experience is required, and students should expect to learn at a fast pace! Class will be held in the Peninsula High School SMERT building.
