The Heartsaver CPR and AED Course teaches CPR and relief of choking in adults, children and infants and use of barrier devices for all ages. It also covers the use of the AED machine (Automated External Defibrillator). It is designed for those who have a duty to respond to a cardiac emergency because of job responsibilities or regulatory requirements. This would include teachers, fitness trainers, lifeguards and coaches. This is also a wonderful course for anyone that has a responsibility to care for another person including parents and babysitters. It is for the non-healthcare professional. This class is NOT for Healthcare Providers. This class is NOT for Daycare Providers or Preschool Teachers. Note: A $30 material fee is due and payable to the instructor on the first day of class. Material fee covers: an American Heart Association HeartSaver CPR/AED Certification Card, an American Heart Association HeatSaver CPR/AED Student Workbook, a CPR Face Shield Keychain.
