We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
Join us for a family-friendly nature hike with Gina Roxas, Program Director for the Trickster Cultural Center, ethnobotanist, and citizen of the Prairie Band Potawatomi. Through the art of story-telling, you’ll learn about indigenous peoples’ cultural connections to the prairie and how traditional practices continue to shape indigenous peoples’ relationship to the land today. We will meet at Lost Valley Visitor Center, and hike from there for an hour, please dress for the weather. In case of inclement weather, the Back-Up Date is set for 12/28, also from 2:00-3:00pm.
Registration is required. Be sure to register each family member that will attend. Children ages 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult family member.
