Join Marine Science Institute for a 5-hour exploration of the local marsh on MSI's canoes. As a team we will be pulling our canoes out of the racks and setting them up on the beach. Paddles, life jackets, and other canoe gear will be passed out to each participant. You will learn the parts of a canoe, how to properly paddle, and how signal for assistance. Once canoes are loaded there will be a final bathroom break and then we will launch the teams for some on-the-water practice paddling. We will head over to Bair Island as a group to explore and collect Each Cupertino High School Marine Science Course student can bring a maximum of two guests. All attendees must pre-register.
