Description
The Japanese Garden, in San Mateo Central Park is one of the finest gardens in California. It was designed by landscape architect, Nagao Sakurai of the Imperial Palace of Tokyo, and features a granite pagoda, tea house, koi pond and bamboo grove. We will get a private tour of the gardens and then enjoy a nice bag lunch in the park.Scroll down for important program information.
Registration Deadline: The Wednesday before each trip.
Transportation if needed leaves at 10:00am from the Veterans Memorial Senior Center and is preferred. Please call Austin at 780-7399 to reserve a spot in our van.
