Description
California Title 13 is a regulation set forth by the California Code of Regulations for emergency vehicle warning. The regulation categorizes and sets standards of lighting intensity that warning lamps should meet to promote the safety of workers and citizens. These standards are part of California's Code of Regulations and are enforceable by law. This course will provide the opportunity for students to review these standards and laws and will help students to define what are acceptable colors, the definitions of colors, their minimum brightness and distribution, their acceptable flash patterns and frequencies, environmental testing, and testing setup. Additional course content will include differences in support vehicle emergency lighting vs. emergency vehicle lighting and the applicable references to the NFPA Standards. This course is invaluable to any member of the fire service who works with the development of fire apparatus and vehicle specifications.1-Day Course: $210.00
