Glass on Glass Mosaic Workshop at the Portland Community Center.Taught by Dolores Gonzalez-Jarvis, owner of Mujeres Gonzalez Art.
This class is going to equip you with the knowledge you need to make a small flat project. The Basic Mosaic Workshop portion is where you will learn the skills that are the foundation for all mosaic projects. The materials that will be provided for you to work with are broken stained glass. You will learn how to plan, arrange, and complete a project. We will cover the different types of cutting tools available and how to use them, the differences in adhesives and how to apply them, and basic sealing techniques. You will complete one 5 x 7 inch project.Please note that instructor will resin project after class, and project will need to be picked up at a later date. All supplies are included in price of class. Sign up soon, we expect class to fill up.
