Have fun designing an Embellished Paper Tortoise with crayon, string, and glitter. This activity was inspired by the majestic desert tortoise and its importance to the Ancestral Sonoran Desert People.
Cost: $2 per craft
Each Craft Kit order includes an educational component, the materials for the craft, excluding glue, and a set of PowerPoint step-by-step instructions. There is no in-person instruction for this activity. This is a take home craft.
Craft kits must be picked up at S'edav Va'aki Museum, formerly known as Pueblo Grande Museum Archaeological Park, located at 4619 E. Washington Street Phoenix, AZ 85034. Main phone number is 602-495-0901
All crafts activities must be scheduled minimum of two weeks prior to the proposed date of the program allowing museum staff time to prepare the supplies.
