Come join us on September 14, 2024 at Lake Perris Dam Perris Ca to celebrate our 7th Annual Shoe4Africa in the making.
Shoe4Africa is focused on creating better health and education outcomes-focused in Eastern Africa. The charity has also raised significant funding for the hospital, and other building projects, through individual donations and the efforts of runners that run Marathons and other road races throughout the world and raise funds through their participants.
Event details and schedule
Moreno Valley Road Runners Club will be celebrating our 7th Annual Shoe4Africa fun run at Lake Perris State Recreation Area Dam 17801 Lake Perris Drive Perris, Ca 92571. On September 14, 2024, at 7:00 am.
What: Don’t miss Southern California’s best Shoe4Africa fun run tradition! There will be a 1-mile kids race (ages 12 and under) and adorable little Trotters run (ages 3 and under). Everyone is welcome!
Where: Enjoy a historic course along the Dam, referred to as The Lake Perris Dam. You’ll pass by such a notable lake. What a great way to see the beautiful lake in the morning.
Course: The race starts and finishes at the Dam. This is a flat long course with no traffic.
When: September 14, 2024. Packet picks up open at 7:00 Am.
Race Start Times:The little trotters run starts at 8:00 AM, The kid’s 1-mile race starts at 8:15 AM, the 5K and 10K start at 8:30 AM.
Awards: Top 3 boys and girls in the 1-mile race, Top 3 open Males and Females in the 5K and 10K.
Giving away: Medals to all participants and 50 first sign-ups will get a t-shirt.
Fees: Little trotters are free (ages 3 and under), the kid’s 1-mile race is $5.00, the 5K race is $20.00, 10K is $25.00. All fees are the same on race day. On race day we take cash, Venmo, Cash app, and Zelle. The entrance to the park will be $20.00.
