Description
In this intensive workshop, campers will create a scene from the ground up, both acting in front of the camera, and working behind the camera. Campers will learn how a film gets made in a sound stage environment through camera techniques, three-way lighting setups, directing and shooting a scene, and working in a fast-paced set-environment with professional film equipment. The week will end with the scenes being shot in real time before a live studio audience.Level of Instruction: Intermediate / Advanced
Skills Learned: Self-confidence, performance and audition skills, film techniques, improvisation, and friendships.
Supplies Needed: Water bottle and healthy nut-free snacks.
Students should bring a nut-free snack and water bottle each day.
If your child is enrolled for both a morning activity (9:00am-12:00pm) and an afternoon activity (1:00pm-4:00pm) during the same week they are eligible to stay for Lunch Bunch (free supervised lunch hour from 12:00pm-1:00pm).
