Functional Movement combines foundational functional movements that draw from core stabilizing and joint mobility modalities to help strengthen your stabilizers for good posture and work to optimize alignment. This class is essential for folks who have ongoing pain, folks who are improving their mobility and strength, folks who want to prevent injuries, and want to optimize other movement classes like pilates or yoga by having foundational strength and mobility so that they can access those larger poses with more embodied integrity. Chandler has a history of injuries at a young age and has been learning about body movement and alignment through various modalities for most of her life. Her goal is to create classes that are accessible for folks who are new to movement classes but with the time of intention that means that even folks who go to two yoga classes a day would get integral support from the same exercises.
