Meet local author, Mary DeCair, as she discusses her memoir, The Next Step: Walk Across America. This book explores her experience walking 100 miles in each state. In mini excerpts from her journal, she shares the practical aspects of such a venture, philosophical observations, touching stories, the heartwarming kindness of strangers and the fun she had.
