Meet Our Trees!You can recognize a tree when you see one, but what do you really know about it? How many different kinds are there? How do you even tell them apart? Believe it or not, learning to identify some of the common ones in our area is easy! Come walk with us along the Park’s White Oak Trail, and you’ll “leaf” with a new set of skills that will help make your time outdoors even more rewarding.

Discovery Center - From the Newport News Park main entrance, proceed 1 mile on Constitution Ave; the Discovery Center and parking lot is on the right - look for the Civil War canon!
