38 - 04. TO AIR OR NOT TO AIR (Monday, June 3)To enjoy a wine at its best, a factor to take into consideration is if the wine will benefit or not from decanting or aeration. But both winemakers and consumers are split about their preferences. At the same time, very few comparative tastings have been done regarding this issue. In this seminar we will blind taste wines subjected to different aeration times to get a better insight of the process of evolution of a wine once the bottle is open and the wine is served.
