On Tuesdays. Class Dates: 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 4/2, 4/9, 4/16, 4/30, and 5/7. No class: 3/19, 3/26, 4/23. Potential make-up date: 5/14. Course Description: Students will construct a square double-sided basket that is decorated with trees and woodland flora and fauna on the outside but becomes the cozy home of a hedgehog family on the inside complete with a hedgehog stuffie and keychain. A decorative carrying handle makes the project transportable. Kids in grades 1 through 5 will learn how to thread a needle, a knot, pin, and stitch with our trained instructor. Beginners are welcome in this class and experienced sewers will love working on a new project.
