On Fridays. Class Dates: 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22, 4/5, 4/12, 4/19, and 4/26. No class: 3/29. Potential make-up date: 5/3. Course Description: Adventures with Art classes are designed to offer a wide range of art projects that positively influence the children’s cognitive, emotional, and social development. It helps to nurture their artistic abilities while fostering a positive and enjoyable learning environment. It promotes creativity, imagination, and self-expression through various art forms while enhancing fine motor skills and critical thinking. Children can celebrate diversity in art as they get introduced to artwork from various cultures and artists, fostering an appreciation for diversity and expanding their understanding of art across different contexts while creating a social and collaborative setting where children can share ideas, work together on projects, and learn from each other's unique perspectives.
