Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Sunday, April 7, 2024.
You might know about Monarch butterflies, and maybe you've seen a big Tiger Swallowtail, but there are butterflies of many sizes and colors. From tiny skippers to impressive admirals, come learn about butterfly diversity, life cycle, and common species found at Harris Lake County Park! Bring binoculars if you have them and come prepared to walk around in search of these fluttery insects. Space is limited. For ages 6 and up. Meet at the picnic tables in the Educational Garden.
All participants (children and adults) must be registered. Bring a water bottle and binoculars (we will have pairs available to borrow).
