Professional College internship program, Summer Theatre of New Canaan, 2024 season. Intern positions in Acting, Stagecraft, Administration, Stage Management, Technical Theatre Costumes, Music, and Directing/Theater Ed. Season start times, hours and weeks assigned will vary according to discipline. Please refer to website for latest dates for each internship category. Generally late May/early June for Administrators, Early/mid June for Actors, Costume and Education/Directing interns and late June for for technical internships. All internships run through August 2nd. Hours and schedules vary depending on discipline. All internships require attendance or participation at performances. Schedules are usually Tuesday through Sunday but may change pending needs. Shows are generally Thursday/Friday through Sunday. All interns receive a weekly stipend of $300 for their apprenticeships. Housing and local personal transportation is generally not provided. All candidates should provide their own transportation and reside within a reasonable commute.
