About this event
Instructor: Mike Baker, Jr. Whether it is in theatre, film, or radio there is a voiceover opportunity for you. Seven-time Emmy-winning, eighteen-time Emmy-nominated, and five-time Telly-winning TV host and producer, Mike Baker, Jr. will teach you the latest voiceover techniques in a whole host of fields including travel, food, retail, narration, promos, and PSAs. Each week, you will be provided a commercial voiceover copy and taught the techniques of storytelling and delivery. You will also record at least two pieces of copy weekly for critiquing purposes. As part of this class, you will also record a professional voiceover reel at Cue Studios in Falls Church on Saturday, April 20 at a time convenient to you. Following your session, you will receive a master reel professionally recorded and mixed (WAV file plus a video file with your name displayed that you can post on YouTube right away). Class size is limited to just twelve, so register early. Mike will also include a two-hour long free marketing seminar on April 21, to help you get started with your voiceover career complete with marketing lists and pertinent websites.
