Most people over the age of 50 are at risk of osteoporosis a condition that attacks the spongy part of the bones, including the lumbar spine, hips, & wrists. Research shows that yoga can improve your bone density and help you reduce bone loss. Learn specific poses to build stronger bones, improve balance, and increase muscle mass- combating osteoporosis and other injuries that can occur with aging. Please bring a yoga mat to class. (KD)


No class 03/31/22. In accordance with CDC Guidelines and Governor Pritzker’s Executive Order, face masks are required indoors for all individuals age 2 & up, regardless of vaccination status. Face coverings must be worn at all times while inside a Park District facility.
