Description
In July and August, at the Cesar Chavez Plaza, all are encouraged to enjoy a classic movie under the stars. This year as we celebrate 70 years of Milpitas, we will be showing films that premiered in 1954. There will be a special 50s-themed concession stand.- July 12 – Sabrina (PG) 112 minutesA chauffer's daughter falls in love with the estate playboy, who views her as a kid...until she returns from two years in Paris a sophisticated woman.
- August 16 – Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (PG) 103 minutesBest Picture-nominated hoedown is set in 1850s Oregon, where a group of brothers kidnap a passel of comely lasses with the intention of marriage, but when the men's farm gets snowed in and they're all trapped together, the ladies' hearts begin to melt. An Oscar winner for Best Musical Score.
