Description
Introducing New Directions Mini Camp. This camp will run with our New Directions Camp. The camp will be a half day camp for adults, but will still be full of art, life skills, games, outings, and much more. Pre-registration is required.
Therapeutic Recreation Adaptive Camp Experience: The purpose of TRACES is to provide an exploration of various leisure activities for individuals with disabilities. Emphasis is on physical and leisure skill development and includes, art, sensory, music, games, nature awareness, life skills, and social interaction.
Prerequisite skills:
- Can follow one to two-step directions
- Tolerance for group activities
- Can perform activities of daily living independently or with verbal cues
- Has a desire to participate and is able to communicate their needs
- Other prerequisites may be included based on each individual camp experience
