Lisa Schiller, of the Better Business Bureau, will speak about the common scams to avoid today. Topics include how to protect yourself from becoming a victim and how to properly report scams and fraud that you become aware of. The Better Business Bureau is a 100+ year old organization whose mission is to set standards for marketplace trust, encouraging and supporting best practices by engaging and educating consumers and businesses. In addition, BBB seeks to create a community of trustworthy businesses and charities. FREE but registration is required.
