About this event
This class is a continuation from Session 1. Students who particpated in Session 1 and highly encouraged to continue with Session 2 which will enhance what they learned in Session 2. Come join the world of baton twirling and learn to spin the silver stick! The class will focus on proper warm-up, beginning baton twirling skills, basic dance technique, and teamwork, all in a fun interactive atmosphere. This is a progressive class that will cover a variety of twirling elements: Full-hand twirls, tosses, rolls, and partner exchanges. The class will also learn a short group routine for an end-of-year exhibition. Batons will be provided for in-class use, but baton twirling is a hands-on sport and having your own baron for at-home practice is best. Batons must be ordered through the instructor. All students use the same pro model. These are weighted for the best training experience. Batons are $40 and take about one week to arrive once ordered. Students will keep their batons. Please note in the description; students will learn and routine which will be presented to parents at the end of the session.
