Tai Chi is a slow-moving mind body exercise that began in China approximately 500 years ago. It’s gentle flowing movements contain an inner power which strengthens the body and mind while promoting better health and increased relaxation. This class teaches a unique Tai Chi program developed by Dr. Paul Lam in Australia using the Sun Style of Tai Chi. It is designed to be easy on the joints, improve balance and to be easy to learn. Benefits of the class include: increased strength and flexibility, decreased joint pain, improved balance, improved posture, decreased stress and increased sense of well-being.
