Description
Come walk the beautiful grounds at Lilacia Park in Lombard while the Lilacs are in bloom! In 2019, Lilacia Park was named to the National Register of Historic Places for its significant contribution to horticultural history in the United States. The park is a globally recognized horticultural showcase that features over 700 lilacs and 35,000 tulips annually, budding in April and blooming in early May. Trip will include time in Lilacia Park in the morning from 10am-11:30am, then participants can take the bus or walk three blocks to downtown Lombard to eat lunch and/or visit shops from 11:30-1:30pm. Trip includes transportation.
