Junior Makers: 3D Print a Monster

About this event
Do you love creating with Play-Doh? Do you like 3D printers? Take your maker skills to the next level with this fabrication project. You will use sculpting clay to create a prototype of your dream monster friend, and we’ll show you how to turn it into a plastic figurine. You will learn how to use a 3D scanner and 3D print your models in our lab. When the prints are completed and processed, the final monsters will be shipped to you so you can show off your custom-made toy. This project is for students in grades 4th to 8th. A parent of 18+ chaperone is required. Submit a picture via email beforehand. The cost per student is $25 and registration is open on Active for a maximum of 10 students.
