About this event
Have you ever wanted to explore the undersea world? Do you have friends or family members who SCUBA dive and you wish you could join them? Now is your chance! Here's your opportunity to get SCUBA certified with other Valor students and start a whole new bucket list full of underwater adventures. Three days will be spent at the A1 SCUBA facility in Littleton getting certified at the pool. The fee covers: digital open water manual and digital logbook; the use of all snorkeling and diving equipment in the pool; three classroom/pool sessions; pool diver certification; professional dive instructor. Students should bring lunch daily. Health forms must be filled out prior to Spring Break in order for students to participate. Participants will need to complete 10-12 hours of online videos and quizzes independently by Tuesday, March 19th at midnight. To become open water certified students will need to take two more days of classes over the summer at Chatfield Reservoir. Register and submit payment for the additional classes through A1. Not included in the practicum fee: Four open water certification dives; surface marker buoy. However, if students want the additional open water certification they will receive a reduced cost ($220) for Chatfield open water dives.
