About this event

Description

We're sorry, but this program is over. The last meeting was Saturday, April 6, 2024.

Registration for the Outdoor Education Center's GSSF Indoor League Series - Match 2 on April 2nd or 6th 2024. For this series, each match will be offered on two dates - attend on whichever day works best for your schedule (Tuesday or Saturday).

This is the SECOND match for this series. Competitors must shoot in two out of the three available matches (March, April, May) to be eligible for prizes. The third match will take place on May 7th or 10th.

Competitors may shoot up to 5 divisions - Stock, Unlimited, Pocket, Rimfire, and MOS. For division descriptions, see below. First entry per date is $20, second is $10, third is $5, fourth is $5, and fifth is $5. Secondary entries in the same division are $5 each and only count as additional chances in the prize drawings.

This match will follow GSSF's 'Original' course of fire for Stock, Unlimited, Rimfire, and MOS and 'Option E' for Pocket. For target, distance, rounds, and timing specifications, see the document under More Information.

All competitors in the GSSF Indoor League Series must be GSSF Members and compete using Glocks that conform to Stock, Unlimited, Pocket, Rimfire, and/or MOS division rules. GSSF memberships may be obtained/renewed online from https://gssf.pro/.

Schedule:

Tuesday, April 2nd: Check in available starting at 1 pm; check in closes at 6:30 pm.

Saturday, April 6th: Check in available starting at 8 am; check in closes at 11:30 am.

Preregister to schedule a check in (squadding) time. Competitors will otherwise be squadded according to arrival time, but may have to wait enter the range.

PRIZES

A Glock pistol will be awarded in a random prize drawing after completion of all three matches. A ticket in the drawing will be generated for every competitor's first division entry and/or secondary division entry, once they have shot the same entry for a minimum of two out of the three matches.

For each division, ONLY the first entry shot will be placed in each month's match result rankings. Secondary division entries are not ranked and cannot replace a primary score. Monthly ranking results will be provided after each match. ONLY the first course of fire will be eligible for the 500 or the 250 (Pocket GLOCK) Club ranking.

For final series results, any competitor with two or more 'first' entries per division will have their top two division scores averaged for rank.

During a League competition, where there will be more than one match, the scores are totaled and averaged at the end of the 3-match series. If a shooter shoots in only 2 of the 3 matches, their scores are totaled and divided by 2. If they shoot in all 3 matches, their highest 2 scores are totaled and divided by 2.

The result is one final score for each shooter, which is then listed in the overall order in which they finished from highest to lowest. For Stock awards, the GSSF League uses the Lewis prize allocation system to distribute awards as equitably as possible. The overall results are divided into thirds (i.e., the top one-third is A class, the second one-third is B class, and the third one-third is C class). Plaques will be awarded to the top competitor of each class for the Stock division.

First place plaques will be awarded for Unlimited, Pocket, Rimfire, and MOS divisions, and special recognition categories Woman, Senior (55+), and Junior (<18) in the Stock division.

Other prizes awarded include knives, t-shirts, and caps.

DIVISIONS
Participants may shoot more than one pistol at each event. The course of fire may be shot more than once per pistol (additional fees apply). Competitors may shoot an official entry in all of the divisions. Any additional entries per a division will count for additional entries of the random drawing, but not for the official results.
