En plein air is a French expression meaning “in the open air” which is a term used to describe the act of painting outdoors. Campers will get the chance to explore and experience drawing and painting the landscape outdoors in natural light, just as the Impressionist artists did in the 19th Century. The extensive FCDS outdoor campus is a beautiful place to explore the natural surroundings for inspiration, and what better way to spend a summer day? All materials will be supplied by Summer Enrichment. Lunch is included in the cost of this camp.
