This is a commuter camp. There will be no individual overnight camps this summer. The emphasis of the individual skills camp is to teach and develop the fundamental techniques of volleyball, as well as game strategies. Basic skills are stressed in drills, while team play is incorporated to teach how all the fundamentals fit in the game. Campers will be evaluated in all skills and receive a camp packet detailing the camp’s training methods. This camp is open to any and all athletes entering grades 5-12 for the next Fall. Campers will compete in the equivalent of 10 league and tournament matches. Each league team will be assigned a camp staff member to help facilitate all the skills learned throughout the camp. Campers will need to bring their lunch each day. Check-in each day starts at 8a at Sports Pavilion Lawrence (SPL), and the camp concludes at 4p.
