Join us at Lakeside Chautauqua for the Fellowship of Associate Members & Local Methodist Pastors Retreat, "I'm (Still) a Believer," on Sunday, August 18 to Wednesday, August 21, 2024. The retreat is sponsored by the Fellowships from East and West Ohio Conferences, Michigan Conferences of the United Methodist Church and by Lakeside Chautauqua Religious Life Department. Enjoy workshops/discussions on topics focusing on the specific interests and challenges facing Associate Members and Local Pastors. The Rev. Dr. Jim Somerville, Senior Pastor, First Baptist Church, Richmond, Virginia, will be speaking during Faith for Living Hour each morning. Also speaking, Greg Linville will tell the story of the enduring influence of one man who took a stand for his convictions a century ago on Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm at the Train Station. All Lakeside amenities (shuffleboard, waterfront sports, swimming pool, shuttle service, etc.) are included as well as several meals. Plenty of free time for personal reflection and meditation. A 1.0 CEU Certificate will be available and distributed by The Rev. Dr. Charles Yoost, Senior Director of Religious Life and Pastoral Care, Lakeside Chautauqua. Deadline to register is Friday, August 2, 2024. Registration fee of $85.00 includes a three-day Chautauqua Pass and Auto Pass per registration for one person, plus participation in all events scheduled during the retreat. Lunch and dinner are included Monday and Tuesday for Associate Members and Local Pastors. Additional meal plans can be purchased for $85 a person.
