About this event
Join biologist and educator Ian Barnett to learn about transitions in attitudes and approaches to land and water conservation in Canada over 45 years. In the classroom, Ian will discuss his work in BC and across Canada with numerous national and international organizations concerned with the conservation and stewardship of important natural habitats. On April 8 he will lead a full-day field trip to expand your understanding with visits to sites around Kamloops to see where changes have made a difference. Bring your questions to the classroom and the onsite learning. Details of the field trip will be provided at the in-person class.
