About this event
Line dancing is derived from country-western dance. It combines with other forms of dance, such as waltz, polka and swing now. Line dances have accompanied many popular music styles and help dancers relax and relieve the stress. It is easy to learn for all ages. 源自於70年代的美國西部鄉村舞曲，起先以拍手及吉他方式起舞，但隨著時代的變遷，後來融入了歐洲宮廷舞和拉丁舞步，多元化舞步、可個人獨舞也可團體共舞，簡單易學，老少皆宜，適合各年齡層。隨著節奏將感情抒發於舞姿上，因而能調整身體機能、消除緊張情緒和緩解壓力，不但可達到健身、保持身材的效果，因此有健康美好的生活。
